GEOLOGICAL SERVICE

Our principal expertise lies in fostering a science-driven, best practice approach to mineral exploration. Since the inception of XPLORE GLOBAL Ltd. in 2016, we have worked on numerous exploration projects worldwide, and cemented our international reputation of being able to extract significant information from large geochemical and geophysical exploration databases, adding value in regional target generation, testing and evaluation. Examples of this specialist exploration geochemistry and project generation work were published in peer-reviewed journals, such as the Irish Journal of Earth Sciences and Minerals.

We have experience and cover all significant mineral deposit types, including porphyry Cu-Au, greenstone-hosted orogenic Au, sedimentary-hosted base metal deposits, and LCT pegmatites.

We are equally comfortable to work in the field setting up and running projects under harsh and remote conditions, and in the office planning the acquisition, interpretation and reporting of geoscientific data.

Benedikt Steiner is a Qualified Person and is able to compile and sign reports under the JORC, NI43-101 and PERC standards.

Comprehensive exploration geochemistry support, incl. planning and supervision of sampling projects, advice on appropriate sampling design and analytical suites, interpretation of geochemical results, best-practice QC and laboratory liaisons.
Interpretation of processed geophysical datasets, including magnetic, radiometric and electromagnetic surveys.
Development of logging and sampling databases, and applications in mobile GIS technology (sampling apps).

TRAINING SERVICES

Benedikt currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer and MSc Programme Director in Exploration and Mining Geology at the Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter, UK. In this role he is involved with the development and teaching of a variety of subjects applied to mineral exploration and mining to under- and post-graduate learners.

His track record of successful and sought-after teaching activities spans across 7 European countries, 10 academic institutions and industrial associations, and more than 400 students.

Since 2012, numerous short courses covering exploration targeting and geochemistry, orogenic gold and LCT pegmatite deposits, have successfully been run in the field, and in a classroom-setting.
